Save on Grocery Coupons

Grocery Coupons = Happiness

Be Happy With Coupons

If you are feeling pinched financially at the moment, you’re not alone, grocery coupons can come to your rescue. You may find your bills are outpacing your income. There is  a way to make your dollars go further – using grocery coupons. And if you really want to save some money, this fastcoupons.com blog post  will show you how to find them and the insider tricks to make grocery coupons work for you.

There are several types of discount coupons, some offer discounts on delivering the goods to you, others offer direct savings on the product itself.  We’ll take a look at  direct discount grocery coupons. After all, you want to get the full benefit, as quickly as possible. And where better to get the full benefit than at a the grocery checkout line.

Where to find the grocery coupons?

One of the things you’ll find is that getting your hands on these coupons sometimes can be quite difficult. Most discount  and grocery coupons can be found in the newspapers, but 9 out of 10 times you’ll find  the coupon you get doesn’t relate to the actual purchase you want to make, and this of course can be frustrating. One way to get around this is to do a search online for the specific grocery coupon you want.  I personally like www.couponmom.com

The benefit of searching for a grocery coupons online is any coupon you get will match some product offer in the grocery store itself. And we can thank the fact that supermarkets sell almost everything. Once you locate your grocery coupon online, usually in coupon directory sites, you can move to the next step, which is to actually make a purchase with your perfect money saving tool.

You Have The Ideal Money Saving Grocery Coupons

Basically, the working of grocery coupons is just similar to other coupons as all of them are used to get some discount over a specific product. However, the benefit of grocery coupons is that they can be used at a variety of places on variety of products including dairy, produce, dry goods, canned goods etc.

So, you’ve done a search online for coupons and you come across a coupon directory. The next step is to do a search within the directory on a zip code basis. This way you find the coupons specific to your area. Once you locate a coupon you want to use, you need to get a hard copy of that coupon. Duh!. It’s literally that simple.  I like to take pictures of the coupon on my smart phone, since most grocers are accepting mobile coupons as well.

So You’ve Saved With Grocery Coupons, Now What?

I hope you see that finding coupons online for saving money in your local grocery store is easy and fun. Part of the fun is finding hundreds of dollars in coupons on one site. You can literally do your entire grocery list with coupons and save more than 50% from coupons.  There is no being ashamed of shopping with coupons; in fact, it is encouraged as companies fight it out to attract new and loyal customers. To put it simply the single most efficient way to save money in these lean economic times is through grocery coupons.  You can find a link to some great grocery coupons at www.moneysavermarketplace.com

MoneySaver March Highlights

Here we grow again! Remember me telling you last month about our new format and that we had some special surprises in store for you? Well, this issue unveils some of our new look – more to come. We, like many business people in the Ozarks, are investing in our business in order to continue to grow and expand.

Check out our online edition here: http://www.moneysavermarketplace.com

It is so encouraging for us at MoneySaver to work with many talented and committed local business people who are pushing forward with their own growth plans, too.

Just the number of expansions we’ve seen over the past few months shows that a good business concept, with excellent leadership, can ignore an “economic downturn” and build a strong business.

It wasn’t that long ago that El Puente opened their second location in Springfield, now they are expanding it as well as their original location in Nixa. If you haven’t been inside the remodeled Nixa El Puente restaurant, you have to go take a peek – and try the taco salad.

Then there is Ray’s Donuts owner Bill Risberg, who left the franchise Lamar’s in order to build his business his way. Stop in a try their new muffins and cookies (a definite treat) or grab a bag of his famous donuts – still made to melt in your mouth.

Even the “Y” is in expansion mode. With an ear-to-ear grin, YMCA Camp Wakonda Director Matt Schroyer told me about the new swimming pool. “I have a big smile on my face every time I think about it,” he said. So will all the kids who get the chance to swim and play in it this summer. Look for our special summer camp section inside the magazine.

Last month I met with a group of business woman from Ozark. I enjoyed listening to them talk about their businesses and understood how much of themselves they have poured into their shops and restaurants. They inspired us to include a section on shopping local, featuring downtown Ozark businesses like High Falootin’, which will open in April by veteran entrepreneur Pam Garrett.

Speaking of growth, watch for us to reach Republic with our magazine starting in April.

“Saving” On Relationships?

What do relationships have to do with marketing? A ton! A number
of events have occurred recently that help make my point.  First, my
business recently bought out one of our competitors. Second, my
partner Brett Curry and I recently landed a huge deal that will plug
us into over 40 major markets in tandem with a niche celebrity and
finally a 15 year relationship on the verge of getting major business
from my company lost it with one text message.

Relationship Marketing Lesson One:
How a great business, a super deal and numerous referrals can fall
into your lap!  As I mentioned one of my companies was able to
eliminate a competitor. You may be thinking we priced them out of the
market or cannibalized their customer base or offered them a tidy sum
they couldn’t refuse. If you did you would be wrong on all accounts.
You see, we were able to eliminate a competitor with respect,
conversation and joint venture marketing proposals over the course of
three years.

Are you competitive? You’d better be. However, too many take
competition personally and allow it to cloud sound business practices.
Don’t be afraid to get close to your competition, take them to lunch,
buy them a cup of coffee and send them a lead every now and then. If
you’re wise you’ll ask more questions than information you reveal.
Over time, you’ll build trust and eventually you’ll position yourself
to be the first in line when they’re ready to sell, ready to give up
or ready to partner in areas that make mutual sense.

Relationship Marketing Lesson Two

Reach out to the big dogs in your niche. You might be surprised how
thirsty they are.  Remember those gorgeous knock outs in high school
and college? Remember how in many cases they ended up marrying someone
way down the ladder on the beauty scale?(Find examples) It’s not
because they had bad cases of body odor, but they did emit a powerful
repellent: intimidation. Many of the so called beautiful people have
told me over the years they simply didn’t get asked out.  Then one day
when they least expected it, the nerd, the geek or the simply socially
awkward mustered the courage to go for the prize and to their eventual
surprise landed the trophy husband or trophy wife. How can you land
the big deal from the big kahuna?  Sometimes it’s as simple as asking
for it and other times its inserting yourself into the circles the big
dogs run and ask them how you can help. Big dogs are used to being
asked for advice, but rarely are asked, “How can I help you.” Remember
the big 40 market deal we landed? It was landed by running in the
right circles and asking, how I can help you. Of course the deal
didn’t come right away, but our persistent “how can we help you”
positioning narrowed the trust gap over time and one day viola!.  Go
for it!

Relationship Marketing Lesson Three

As fast as you built it, you can blow it. I’ve always been pretty
direct and the distance between a thought and the time it takes to
escape my mouth has achieved light speed upon occasion. Oh how many
times I would have loved to hit the DVR rewind on my mouth.  In our
tech savvy world emails and text messages fly around as fast as the
German Autobahn.  Be cautious of your business relationships when
engaging in verbal or tech assisted conversations.  Always read your
emails and texts back to yourself before hitting send. You will find
yourself revising more often than not.

Recently I tried to help an old business friend by giving them a deep
discount to help him advertise. We both agreed his advertising would
run when our company had the available space and naturally wouldn’t if
we didn’t have the space based on the discounted rate. This relationship was a
win-win and subsequently made me think of their company when I wanted
to change suppliers. They gave me a great rate and I was very happy
with the quality and turn time I was given. However, we recently
weren’t able to accept a job from them due to the amount of work we had ahead of them and the text message I received implied they were pretty upset.
My attempts to reach out over the phone weren’t answered and since then their company has refused to bid on additional work. It simply didn’t make sense and to date haven’t understood why they would react so illogically.  It is even
more of a head scratcher when I know they needed the work and we were
poised to begin sending them regular orders.  At this point the
relationship didn’t go as deep as I thought and I’ve decided
to abandon further attempts to console what seems to be
inconsolable. I will emphasize again, don’t allow emotions to get in
the way of good business decisions.

In summary, remember these three relationship marketing lessons and
watch your bottom line turn into a smile!

Valuable Coupons – Don’t Pass Them Up

If you’re a big coupon user, then you know all about what valuable coupons mean to you. You’re not about to stop that favorite money saving hobby anytime soon. On the other hand, if you do not use coupons, or rarely do, you’re definitely missing out on the tremendous value in savings available to you.
The Valuable CouponsLet me explain the common areas of valuable coupons and the easiest ways to find them so that you can see why you shouldn’t pass them up any longer.

Most Common Valuable Coupons

Below is a list of the three most common types of valuable coupons that are available for you wherever you live:

1. Grocery Value

Purchasing grocery items you already use using coupons is one of the best ways to utilize the value of coupons. Besides the receiving the face value of a grocery coupon when you buy something, some stores actually offer double or triple the value.

Make sure you take advantage of them if at all possible because some stores only double or triple the face value of the coupons on specific days of the week. You will be amazed to see how quickly their valuable coupons help take a big chunk out of your monthly grocery bill. For example, Salyna G., an excited new coupon user says …

In total, I have saved $311.81 which is a 76% savings. It’s amazing. Now it’s not “I have to go grocery shopping”, it’s “I wanna go shopping.” Salyna G

2. Restaurant Value

Discounted restaurants coupons are meant to get people to come in and eat in order to take advantage of the offers. They have tremendous value.

To make them even more valuable, many restaurants put out coupons that can only be used on specific days of the week. Some of them even have specific time frames, for example, “For use after 4pm, Monday- Wednesday ONLY”, or something similar. If you take just a brief moment to examine the details of the coupon, you will accumulate so much money in savings every month. Even eating out once a day could become very affordable.

3. Entertainment Value

The value for entertainment coupons are so great as well to pass up. Entertainment venues such as museums, amusement parks, movie theaters, or other activities distribute their coupons on a regular basis. It’s not uncommon to find “BUY 1- GET 1 FREE” coupons for such outings that you can use to save a lot of money. As you well know, entertainment is not cheap these days, so take advantage of the valuable entertainment coupons and save a lot of money every month.

Best Ways to Get Valuable Coupons Today

Coupons are very easy to find these days. Two of the most common and easiest ways to find coupons are in your local magazines and newspaper ads. These ads are published on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis depending on the publications.

If you have internet access, go to the sites for the products you use. Many of them offer coupons that they will mail to you or that you can print at home. Even better, if these sites offer an option to sign up to receive their promotions and coupons by e-mail then take advantage of it.

Another avenue of finding coupons online are online auctions like Yahoo! Auctions and eBay. They offer you plenty of opportunities to buy discount coupons that others are selling.

Now that you can see how valuable coupons are, take time to seek them out especially for items you and your family already use. It may seem a lot of work to collect a $0.75 cent coupon here and a $2.00 coupon there but it actually is not. And they really do add up over time. Through the course of one year, the amount you will save on groceries, eating out, and entertainment will certainly amaze you!

“Coupon value is ranked as the highest motivating factor driving a consumer to switch from their preferred product or brand,” said Craig Elston, senior vice president, Integer Group.

P.S. Don’t forget to check the EXPIRATION DATE!

Search and print valuable coupons for the Springfield/Branson area.
